Overview

The MIDI Part comp is for playing layers of bass/drums in loop. Multiple parts can be muted/played back at once, and there is a synchroniser available to make sure they all play in perfect sync.

Synchroniser

When enabled, the synchroniser makes sure all Parts are started on-the-beat. There is a beat led, moving left to right, indicating the current tempo.

Triggering a MIDI part

Click the play button next to the Part name. If the synchroniser is running, the part will start playback at next possible beat. The first Part can also be triggered by C1 or 1 on the PC keyboard.

Port and midi ch

By assigning different MIDI ports and channels, each Part can play individual VST's. Let the first Part playback your favorite bass VSTi, and Part 2 playback your favorite drum VSTi etc.
